The philosophy of Battle Ridge Ranch is simple.

The clearer you communicate in a consistent manner the stronger the result. By being firm, fair and friendly as you help the horse advance through his learning curve, sticking with the horse through scared and confused segments (defined as stick-to-itness), you don't let him fail. We have spent the last ten years acquiring knowledge from the best in the equine world only to find that it is never-ending. The more you learn the more there is to learn. Just this past year we spent time with John & Josh Lyons, Chris Irwin, Al Dunning, Richie Wingfield and Tommy Tervy-all masters at what they do, not to mention good people. These type of people take pride in their abilities to be the best at the same time demand you be the best you can be.

My horse is presently at Still meadows ranch, east of Sherwood Park, I have purchased and am attempting to use the John Lyons system, wondered if you would be having any clinics in this area in 2011. Hi i would like to request a clinic in the North Battleford or Lloydminster area, DONE!!	Hi you two, just wanted to thank you once again for the absolutely wonderful weekend. I really did learn so much. I have had such difficulties with my older gelding and just wanted to start this one right. I have read John Lyons training manual and magazines in the past and have tried to follow through but was not always successful. With Glenn's confident leadership I was able to follow through many exercises and have gained confidence in my own horsemanship abilities! Hi there, I am writing from St. Paul, AB. I would love to see a clinic held here in town at the Ag Society arena. There is a beautiful heated facility with plenty of stalls and bedding. There are a lot of horse people in the area that would attend, we just don�t get a lot of clinicians travelling to this area, DONE!	Hi Sharon & Glenn Hope all is going well with you both. Just wanted to say Thank-You again for coming to St. Paul & that I look forward to your return in the Fall if it all works out for you. I enjoyed the Clinic so much & learned so very much. Ever think of coming to Brandon Manitoba? Chris DONE!	Not sure if you remember me, but I came with my mother and we attended your May 7/8 horsemanship clinic. Just wanted to give you an update. My goal for the end of the summer was to ride my arabianX out of the small little pen we've grown accustomed to. These past few weeks I've been riding her out in the cattle pasture and my goal has been met 3 months earlier. I've also been able to win every battle :) I just wanted to say thank you and that the clinic was the best money I have ever spent. The ornamental horse I have owned for 3 years is now taking me for rides and it's the most incredible feeling in the world. I just wanted to thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Take care. We have an indoor arena in Peace River and a lot of rider that would be would participate. Would you be able to come to Peace River this summer DONE!	This is a moment in time where I am about to realize that I can do this. From this point on there is no stopping us. :) Spencer is lighter, more responsive, turning on the fore, haunches, side pass, we're able to ride out by ourselves, we'...ve been on an overnight camp out, beach, ....and no end to our possibilities and tons of plans for the future.
